The athletics team from DPS, GBN performed really well in the 2 nd Youth National Games for Boys and Girls was organized by Uttarakhand Athletics Association at the Bhalla Stadium (Haridwar) from October 7 - October 9, 2016. Around 2000 students participated in this Youth National Games. The achievers are:

Abhay from class 11 th bagged silver medal for shotput and bronze medal for discuss.

Harprateek from class 11 th bagged bronze medal for 1500m.

It was a proud moment for the DPS-GBN family as we bagged First position in two categories of the Online activities: Gatha: Story of a river and Book of Ideas: Neer Sanchita. The students came back with Two Trophies.

DPS, GBN has added another feather to its cap by being ranked as the Second Amongst Emerging High Potential Schools across India. This prestigious honour was conferred upon the School at the Education World Grand Jury Awards 2016, organised by EduComp's Education World India School Rankings 2016, on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Gurgaon.

Our champions moved ahead with victory. DPS-GBN Sub-Junior Boys Team outshone Indus Valley School by a score of 3-0 in quarter final on 22nd August 2016 in District Table Tennis School Championship.

Our champion even outshone DPS Noida by 3-0 in the Semi-Finals and gave a cut throat competition to Sapphire International School and won a Gold Medal in finals by a score of 3-1.

Congratulations for the Preliminary Discoveries of Asteroids by our students under All India Asteroid Search Campaign 2016! Ayush Ranjan and Yash Jha, students from class 9th have made three preliminary asteroid discoveries under the All India Asteroid Search Campaign 2016 run by SPACE organisation.

The Amateur Crossword Enthusiasts of DPS GBN , Hardik Kharbanda and Yash Agrawal, both from Class IX became the Runners-up in the City round of the CBSE Cryptic Crossword Contest 2016 on 29th April 2016. It was held at Army Public School Noida with more than 25 Schools participating in the event.

The British Council International School Award 2015-16 has approved the portfolio submitted by DPS, GBN, and our school has been successfully awarded with the British Council International Award for the period 2016-19.
