DPS, GBN’s Melodious Victory in ‘Avni Avenues’ Competition

The students of classes VIII to X took part in the ‘Avni Avenues- The Earth Day Celebrations’ Competition held at DPS Greater Noida on May 9, 2018 and staked a claim on the first prize. It was an integrated presentation of the choir as well as the dance team as they performed on the prescribed themes and were judged on the basis of introduction, relevance to theme, creativity, rhythm, melody, harmony, synchronisation and overall presentation.

The Group song on the theme of Vasundhara- celebrating the beauty of Mother Earth was appreciated for its rhythmic excellence. The folk dance performance celebrating the glories of Nature was a blend of energizing beats and creative expression that received a thunderous applause. The participants included:
