Christmas - Assembly by Class 2

Christmas is a festival of joy, sharing and giving. Christmas is also celebrated to rejoice the birth of Jesus Christ. To spread this message amongst one and all, class 2 presented their assembly on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. This was followed by a musical skit based on the birth of Jesus Christ. The students enthusiastically participated and enacted the roles of Mother Mary, Father Joseph and the angels.

CULINARY SKILLS –Opening Ceremony and Workshop by IIHM

Students of classes VIII-IX gave a dance presentation in IIHM opening ceremony in Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan  Auditorium on January 28,2019. The performance was appreciated by all.

On the same day, A Culinary Skills workshop was organised in the school by IIHM.

UNITY IN DIVERSITY- REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

With this thought, Delhi Public School, GBN organised "Unity in Diversity: Republic Day Celebrations" from January 17- 19, 2019 wherein the students of classes III- V participated with great enthusiasm and fervour. A total of 830 students came together to honour the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950.

PCI NEXT Test held in DPS, GBN

DPS, GBN got an opportunity to get the PCI NEXT tests done in the school campus on December 15 and 16, 2018. Sharp is one of the largest manufacturers of Air Purifiers in the world and also among the market leaders in India. They have a patented Technology called the Plasma-cluster Ioniser, which is used in their product. These IONS are present in nature and act as natural air purifiers. These ions deactivate various types of bacteria, viruses, mould, fungus etc.

DPS, GBN Noida Organises Measles Rubella Vaccination Camp

In accordance with the national level drive to prevent children falling prey to measles/rubella, DPS, GBN organized a Vaccination Camp in the school premises on December 6 and 7, 2018. The students were vaccinated in the presence of parents to ensure complete safety and peace of mind for the parent community. The Camp was conducted under the supervision of medical team from the CMO Office and DIOS Office.

DPS, GBN Noida Celebrates 4th Founder’s Day

The senior school students of DPS, GBN celebrated their 4th Founder’s Day by staging the much loved Walt Disney’s High School Musical on November 24 and 25, 2018 in the school’s amphitheatre. The mega event was marked by students singing LIVE before the audience. The rhythmic energy of the Broadway presentation fascinated the audience completely. Mr Pankaj Singh, BJP MLA from Noida attended the function on November 24, as the Chief Guest.
