Mega Earthquake Evacuation Drill

Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida successfully participated in the ‘Mega School Earthquake Evacuation Drill’ conducted under the guidance of the Disaster Management Cell, Noida on April 27, 2017 from 11 am to 12 noon. We are among the 101 Schools across Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway of Gautam Buddh Nagar district, which participated in this massive awareness drive. 700 students and 70 teachers and staff of classes VI-XII participated in the event.

Earth Day Celebrations

Little Angels of Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddha Nagar along with the teachers celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2017 with much enthusiasm. The aim was to sensitize the students towards their role in addressing global environmental challenges at grass root level.

Self Defence Workshop

Self defence is not just a set of techniques, it’s a state of mind and it begins with the belief that you are worth defending. A workshop on Right to Safety was conducted in DPS,GBN on April 21,2017. The resource person, Mr. Rajesh Gupta, is an entrepreneur in mixed martial arts and has been teaching this skill to women, as a part of his Right to Safety Programme, Shaktipunj.

Class I Presents Rasa Manch

Delhi Public School, GBN presented a captivating array of dance, drama and tunes by the young tots of class 1 through the depiction on ‘Nav Rasas’ on March 23 & 24, 2017. The essential aspects or energies that define the emotions of life were presented with scintillating performances by the budding talents

2ND PRE-SCHOOL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATED AT DPS,GBN

The Pre-School wing of Delhi Public School, GBN, Noida organized its 2^nd Sports Day on March 24, 2017. The Chief Guest of the event was Ms. Reva Nayyar , Member School Managing Committee and our parents: Ms. Richa Satsangi & Mr. Maneesh Gaurav and Ms. Ridhi Sharma & Mr. Antriksh Sharma. The theme of the event was Primary Colours- where the students were divided into Team Red, Yellow, Green and Blue.

Nursery Sports Day- Go for Glory Championship 2017

DPS GBN, Nursery Wing organized the Sports Day- Go for Glory Championship, 2017 on February 22 and 23, 2017 in the School. The spirit of friendly competition came alive on this day. The field was set and the props were in place for the little champs to show their skills. The Chief Guests of the two day event were Dr. Satyapal Singh, Director Physical Education, Acharya Narendar Dev College, Delhi University and Professor Ms Sudershan Pathak, Ex Director of Physical Education and Sports, Delhi University, presently Chairperson, Delhi Social Welfare Board, Government of NCT of Delhi. The audience comprising of the teachers and proud parents had a captivating afternoon watching the children participate with great enthusiasm and exuberance.

Graduation Ceremony 2017

DPS-GBN celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of class Prep students on March 3 and 4, 2017 at the Tagore Auditorium with great fervour and gaiety. The Auditorium was packed to the capacity with the parents and special invitees.The Chief Guest of the event was Ms. Shubhra Banerjee, Incharge Shiksha Kendra, DPS, Gurgaon on March 3, 2017 with Ms. Geeta Shankar and Ms. Mona Sharma, eminent educationists as our Guests of Honour. Incredible India-Republic Day

Students of classes III to V of Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida celebrated the unique historical, cultural and social fabric of our nation in the Incredible India – Republic Day Celebrations held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the School Amphitheatre. The event was graced by Dr. Sudipta Ghose, Member, School Managing Committee as the Chief Guest, Ms. Anita Gurnani, Founder of NGO Titliyan was present as an esteemed guest, while Ms.

Intra School MUN

The School achieved yet another milestone by successfully organizing the first Intra School MUN (Model United Nations) on January 18, 2017. The students were enthralled to be a part of an extravagant platform for debating international issues, drafting resolutions to combat issues, and to socialize.

Generation Global Conference

The students of classes VIII and IX participated in the Generation Global Video Conference (earlier Face to Faith) held on January 11, 2017, on the topic ‘Wealth, Charity and Poverty’.

The Participating Schools were Pioneers Public HS (Pakistan), Delhi Public School GBN (India) and Oleksandria School #9, Ukraine. However, Oleksandria School #9 could not join the VC due to technical issues.

Jo Malone (Senior Project Manager, The Tony Blair Faith Foundation) facilitated the VC and Nonica Kochhar provided technical help from Generation Global.

We want to thank you for the new initiatives taken by the school especially in sports. Introduction of swimming as new discipline has helped my ward gain a lot of confidence, keenness to follow a regime as set by his teachers, more exposure owing to participation in various inter-school events.
